Virginia Governor Swipes Non-Discrimination Protection from Gay State Workers

An executive order signed by Virginian Republican Governor Bob McDonnell has reversed what the state’s previous two Democratic governors had cemented: non-discrimination protections for state workers on the basis of race, sex, religion, age and sexual orientation. Gay state employees will now not be protected from discrimination.
