On Saturday night, during the last show of her residency at The Palms in Las Vegas, Mariah Carey brought a young gay couple on stage and helped make a little “Vision of Love” happen.

One half of the pair told the pop diva that his partner of three years had once said he’d only accept a marriage proposal if he ever got the chance to meet Mrs. Nick Cannon. Along those lines, he even popped the question a la Carey’s hubby, with a pink-purple candy ring.

Cue the applause, and the bubbly.
