The Center for Gender Equity is presenting gay rights activist, and organizer of this month’s National Equality March in Washington, D.C., Cleve Jones tonight in the Performing Arts Center at Pacific University from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt are on display and Jones will be on-hand to speak and field questions.

Also, mark your calendars for Thursday, November 12th, when CGE hosts the internationally acclaimed performance artist Tim Miller to the Tom Miles Theater at Pacific University.
Miller’s creative work as a performer and writer explores the artistic, spiritual and political topography of his identity as a gay man. Hailed for his humor and passion, Miller’s performances have been presented all over North America, Australia, and Europe. He is the author of the books SHIRTS & SKIN, BODY BLOWS and 1001 BEDS, which won the 2007 Lambda Literary Award for best book in Drama-Theatre. He is a co-founder of two of the most influential performance spaces in the United States: Performance Space 122 on Manhattan’s Lower East Side and Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, CA.
Tickets for Tim Miller are also $10, and will run from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
