New York City out acoustic troubadour Stewart Lewis has brought his considerable ear for melodic pop-lite out on the road, and will land in Portland at Mississippi Pizza tomorrow night, November 4th at 9:00 p.m.
Lewis’ tunes shimmer with radio-ready pop-rock fancy, borrowing equally from hit-makers U2, and Jason Mraz, while adding a slightly bouncier disposition. The formula works, and Lewis is pre-ordained to light up North Portland tomorrow night.
Haven’t heard of Lewis? He isn’t exactly mired in the underground. Stewart’s songs have been featured on show’s such as Ghost Whisperer, MTV’s Laguna Beach, Joan of Arcadia, Dawson’s Creek, Biggest Loser, and the 20th Century Fox feature film Firehouse Dog.
He’s also had the opportunity to open for such seminal acts as Sheryl Crow, Ani Difranco, Shawn Colvin, Paula Cole, Roseanne Cash, and Patty Larkin.
Maybe you should be part of this intimate show, before your next chance to catch him is in the nosebleeds at the Rose Garden.
