Scheduled prior to the loss in Maine, and victory in Washington, the Portland Equal Rights Coalition is inviting everyone to join them in Portland’s Pioneer Square, tonight, Wed. Nov 4 at 7pm.

Portland Equal Rights Coalition, by its own definition, is “a new, radical, working class, grassroots coming together of individuals & organizations which, behind a united front, works toward the civil & human rights of full social, legal & economic equality for LGBTQQI communities locally & nationally.”

PERC organizers say this about tonight’s gathering:

We must show them that we will not let them have the last vote. We will stand up to them and fight for equality. We will not give into lies and hate. We will not settle for scraps of justice.

WE WILL NOT BE SILENT! We must DEMAND our rights NOW!!
No excuses, no exceptions, no compromises!!! Please join me at Pioneer Square on November 4th 7pm. This will be a safe space for you to vocalize your feelings about being voted into second class citizenship time and time again! Come out and be heard!!
