Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) will hold a Black/African-American Chapter meeting tomorrow morning from 10:00 a.m. – noon at the Metropolitan Community Church (2400 NE Broadway). The organization has invited past and present students to come and share stories and thoughts on the Oregon Safe Schools Act.

The meeting is designed to encourage dialogue pertaining to anti-bullying policies in Oregon schools, and how students, administrators, educators, and families can play a key role in providing support, education and advocacy around this law.

Hear from the student what it means to them having this law in place and from graduates, what it would have meant to them had this law been in place when they attended school.
