Among the flood of local events coinciding with tomorrow’s World AIDS Day 2009 is a special performance of Falsettos, “a powerful and moving musical story about psychotherapy, kosher catering and what it means to be a family.”
The Live On Stage production centers around a man who leaves his wife and young son to live with another man.
There are two performances only — proceeds from tomorrow night’s (Tuesday, Dec. 1) will benefit Our House and Cascade AIDS Project. Tickets are $50 and include a champagne/dessert reception with the cast. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m., doors at 7. (Tickets for Wednesday, Dec. 2’s show, also at 7:30, are $25.)
Falsettos will be performed at downtown’s World Trade Center Theatre, 121 SW Salmon St. Call 503-280-LIVE(5483) or go online for tickets.
