The Portland Actors Conservatory is kicking off its 25th year of producing some of the Northwest’s most cutting edge theater with the upcoming production of You Can’t Take it With You, starring the highly accomplished gay actor/scenic designer Tim Stapleton in a featured role.

You Can’t Take it With You will run from February 17th through March 7th and is directed by PAC artistic director Beth Harper.

From the PAC Web site:

This Pulitzer Prize-winning, classic American play represents a piece of PAC history with a nod to our 2000 production. When the attractive Tony Kirby gets engaged to Alice Sycamore, the clash of her wildly eccentric family with Tony’s uptight, wealthy parents causes fireworks (literally!) and reminds us that the pursuit of happiness takes many forms. This inspired and giddy confection of romance and lunacy is a perennial favorite.

Preview productions of You Can’t Take it With You are on February 17th and 18th, and the play opens February 19th. Preview tickets are $13; Opening Night tickets are $25;  Thu/Fri/Sat tickets are $20; and Sun tickets are $15. To purchase, go here.
