Though Minnesota’s House has a slew of legislative bills to consider concerning gay unions, none of the legislative bills against either gay civil unions, gay marriage, or the recognition of legal same-sex marriage performed outside the state have been given hearings.
Three pro-gay civil union bills have, as of Monday.
The bills, introduced last March, were heard before a House Committee on Monday.
One measure, sponsored by Representative Joe Mullery, DFL- Minneapolis, would recognize gay and lesbian couples with civil unions. And Golden Valley Representative Ryan Winkler’s bill seeks to recognize legal marriages performed outside the state.
A third bill proposes legalizing gay marriage.
Representative Phyllis Kahn (D-MN) introduced the bill proposing legalization of gay marriage in the state.
“I just want to personally state that I think allowing other people to get married poses absolutely no threat to my marriage,” Kahn told the committee. “The legislative session is probably a little more damaging.”
According to a 2009 opinion poll, 61 percent of Minnesotans support giving gay couples “the same legal and economic rights and responsibilities as married couples.”

Gay marriage
My concern is that more and more gay men get STD. It seems that gay men is easier to get an STD.
According to the report from the largest STD dating site == Positivefish.com ==(if I spell the site correctly), the gay subscribers
increased continually. Most of them are sexy.
