I’m back home in Portland and have slept 12 hours. But I still can’t adequately describe the full impact that this trip has had on me on so many levels. It is going to take some time to process everything. As I write this blog post I can’t help the tears of emotion running down my face. I am definitely not sad in the least. I am still simply overwhelmed by the totality of all the that lead up to being elected to be an Oregon delegate and then being seated in the front row with the Obama and Biden families to see Barack Obama deliver his acceptance speech.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, here are a trillion. Even then it does not express all the emotions connected with the reality of what I witnessed and my small part in the process in changing the world for the better.

I can’t even begin to imagine the moments you’ve experienced. Definitely once in a lifetime. Enough to fill a book!
