… Portland Center Stage’s “A Christmas Carol,” in a new adaptation by resident literary director Mead Hunter, playing now through December 28 on the PCS mainstage.

… Artists Rep goes gay with former Just Out columnist Marc Acito’s “Holidazed,“ also through December 28, at the Artists Rep, with beloved gay actor Michael Mendelson in a central role.

… 2008 Christmas Revels! Bearded old men, strange instruments, Celtic dancing and other bizarre yet wonderful elements make up this grand old Portland tradition. Through this Sunday, December 14th only!
