The iPhone seems to have an endless array of uses and now by tapping into the phones geolocation features you can find guys that are nearby.  Yes, iTunes has introduced Grindr a social networking application catered to gay, bi and curious men. The application page on iTunes makes it sound so easy:

Grinder uses your iPhone GPS or iPod Touch Wi-Fi to connect you with guys in your area.  It’s quick, anonymous, convenient, and discrete.  You don’t need an account to use Grindr. Simply launch Grindr, upload an optional photo & profile details, and browse for men in your area who want to chat and meet. Whether he’s a hiking buddy, a hot date, or a casual contact, Grindr connects you with other guys.

Wow! It’s like Craigslists for the truly mobile..umm..err…whores?  Okay, okay maybe just a better way to meet guys for those that are too shy to walk up to that hot stranger at the bar. But what about privacy? Well the application presents users with a list of nearby strangers by displaying them in a photo grid.  From there you can look over their profiles.  Find one you like? Strike up a chat and when you decide you want to meet, you can optionally reveal your exact location. 

Well get your Grindr going and for those whom refuse to switch to AT&T and have an iTouch instead, like me.  You’re in luck! Rest-assured Red Cap and Silverado have free Wi-Fi!
