What happens when a group of well-heeled patrons pony up big bucks for local luminaries, such as author Marc Acito and rocker Storm Large, to compose a piece specifically for them, then have actors and directors rehearse it on the spot, and perform it in front of said well-heeled patrons and members of the public at large?

The result is controlled mayhem of the best kind and it occurs Friday night at the 3rd Annual Commission Commission fund raiser for Portland Center Stage’s JAW Festival.

Those well-heeled patrons show up at 6:30PM for dinner and the auction; the rest of us can join the fun for free at 9PM when the performances begin.
