We’re hearing the name Meghan McCain a lot lately. Who is she, you might ask?

Meghan McCain is the daughter of former Republican presidential candidate John McCain. She started receiving her own fair share of attention when she started blogging about national political isues. She currently writes here, where she will direct you to all her recent activities and interests. Her writing is also featured here.

McCain made headlines recently when she was the featured speaker at the Log Cabin Republicans convention. The text of her address can be found here. If you are not familiar with Log Cabin Republicans, they are self-described as:

Log Cabin Republicans is the nation’s only organization of Republicans who support fairness, freedom, and equality for gay and lesbian Americans.  Log Cabin has state and local chapters nationwide, full-time staff in California and Washington, DC, a federal political action committee, and state political action committees.

So, who is Meghan McCain?  Someone to keep an eye on.
