The Portland organizers of Day of Decision have asked Just Out to forward their “Thank you” to all those who attended today’s rally and march at Waterfront Park.

We would like to thank the people who took the time out of their day to come together for a great cause this evening. It was an amazing and beautiful thing to be apart of and ‘organize’ (for lack of a better word). Though we would like to apologize for the ‘poor’ organizing, once again this was our first time doing anything like this, but we felt like we HAD to do this for ourselves, other fellow GLBTs, and the Country. Next time we will do better job planning, get sponsors, and so much more. Once again thank you again for your time and efforts. It just goes to show you that we ALL can make a difference. Remember to be the change you want to see in the World.
