As anticipated, a formal appeal has been filed against Judge Vaughn Walker’s Wednesday decision to overturn Prop. 8, The Advocate reports.
The appeal was filed Thursday morning, sending the case to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The appeal will be heard by a randomly-selected three judge panel, which has no deadlines to hear the case.
